FRANCO ARMCHAIR
TEAM
Designed by architect and visual artist Blacio Junior, director of the Galeria 733 office, based on the coast of Rio Grande do Sul, the Franco Armchair is the latest creation to be part of the architect's repertoire, known for his hand-drawn designs and recent exploration of metal in sculptural pieces such as Diver and Giraffes, used in the studio's architectural projects. Inspired by his youngest son, Francisco, the armchair carries in its name and in the gesture of sitting the spontaneity and freedom of children's movements. This emotional reference translates into a balanced piece: a sturdy concrete base, ergonomic backrest and seat with a light appearance. The Franco Armchair is in the initial prototyping phase and will be presented during Galeria 733 Open Air 2026, as an object for contemplation and use.
