HOUSE IN JUNDIAÍ
DESCRIPTION
The design of the House in Jundiaí is based on two parallel “sliding” bars, with a clear distinction between the private and social areas. In the slenderer bar, there are four suites and an office; in the other, in addition to the living area and gourmet veranda, there are the kitchen and service areas. The two bars are connected by a third, a glazed volume, inserted into the gap that also serves as a patio.
Considering the materials and architectural elements, the composition of the façades subtly emphasizes the functional hierarchy between the volumes, without compromising aesthetic unity. A series of geometric interconnections are established between the house itself and the leisure area, which is based on a system of parallel walls to adapt to the topography of the site.
